The first appearance of a Wolf (the Wolves member) is lost in the legends dating from centuries ago. The few stories that still survive the time tell that the Prince of the Wolves was a misterious creature, reminding a wolf in human body. It is known that he wasn't very sociable, choosing carefully his companions, but also always ready to stand for his friends, or fight against injustice when possible.

His companions form the secret clan of the Wolves, and the secrecy is in how to find them. They can be easily recognized by their kind and helpful manners, and it is known that they may give their lifes for what they believe.

Coat of Arms of The Wolves. The insignia of the Wolves show the wolf and the wolfman in the top-left to bottom-right diagonal, using the official colors gray and brown. These are the simbols of the structure of that society, as a combination of the two creatures' best caracteristics.
The opposite diagonal shows the sword and the key as simbols of the two mainly skilled profiences of battle and pick-locking, and the book and the cross as simbols of the mainly spiritual profiences of wizardry and holyness. These simbols are made of the other two official colors, silver and gold.
These four simbols are splitted by a standard red heritage cross. The top of the Coat of Arms has the knight helm and the prince crown, representing the origin of that society and what they represent at this present moment.

CHAPTER 2. The Clan:
The clan of The Wolves is structured mainly like a large wolf pack. The few differences that occur are an adaptation for a more including group, so the top of the rank is the Prince and Princess, not an Alpha pair. There can be more than one Alpha, and they don't necessarily associate in pairs. The Alpha rank is right below the Prince and the Princess.
Each Alpha command a different branch of the clan, and under the Alpha's responsability there can be many Elders (concilors) and Betas (formely known as guardians). Below the Beta rank is the Member. A Member can be part of a branch or just part of the clan, as they wish.
The last position is the Friend rank. A friend is formely part of the clan in an experiencing period. The Friend shall make use of that time to show respect, responsability and friendship to the other members.
Hunger for raising ranks is not well seen by the members. A rank change may and will occur when the time comes, and when the circumstances are favorable.
The clan philosophies are to cultivate friendship, hol d honor, be helpful and combat injustice. Evil is usually the standard oponent, but good aligned creatures may also go against these beliefs sometimes.
CHAPTER 3. Rules of the Clan:
- One shall not go against the land's law (See policy). That's mandatory for any member.
- One shall not seed disagreement among the other members. Such cases must be discussed with the immediate superior rank.
- One shall not fill the Den with trash. Also, there shall be reason to choose what to keep at the treasure.
- One shall protect the wild life around the Den, as we live together in mutual benefit.
- One shall take the immediate superior rank's orders to heart, discussing them while the superior allows discussion, following them when the superior requests so. There shall be reason for an order to be made, and if there is suspicion that there is not, it shall be discussed with the Prince.
- One shall not use the lack of explicity of these rules to commit acts that would surely be against the clan's philosophy.
CHAPTER 4. History of the Den:
The Den was digged by the first members on solid rock with the intention of creating a peaceful, comfortable and resting place for the clan. During the dig phase, a hidden part of the forest was found, and it proved to be a place favorable to wild life. The Den, though, was still needed. Therefore, the dig turned to another direction and there it was created.
Later, the members cautiously directed a few creatures to go to the nearly discovered part of the forest, and as the creatures learned about it, it quickly became their lair.
During the first decades of the clan, that part of the forest was identified as a cosmic accident, created by the fall of a very large rock from outer space. It was also discovered that a very ancient creature was living held in the small lake of that field, and that this creature could not be treated as friendly. Nonetheless, the clan choosed to let it live as it was before them.
