Q: What is MUD?
A: Mud stands for Multi User Dungeon or Multi User Dimension. It is a high developed enviromment where people can play on internet while knowing other players around the world.

Q: How can I play MUD?
A: There are other clients especialized in mud such as Zmud, Gmud and others. If you are a serious player, download one and try.

Q: What is Newbie?
A: In the mud jargon, newbies are the novice, the rookies.

Q: My God! I got lost. How can go back to temple?
A: Hollow World protects the newbies. You can at any time type 'recall' and the gods will safely scort you back to the temple. This works 'till level 15.

Q: What are my stats?
A: You can see the informations concerned to you by typing 'score' or and 'stat'. Type also 'display all' to see your current Hit Points (HP), Mana Points (MP) and Movement Points (MvP).

Q: How can I kill the mobs? And what is mob?
A: Mob is the short for mobile. This is the name designed for all monsters and non-players. You can hit them typing: 'kill <mob's name>'

It is adviseble to consider the mob before slaying it. Type 'consider <mob's name>' to get a rough estimation about your opponent power.

If you begin to get trouble during the fught (may be your Hit Points are going to low) try to escape from the fight, typing 'flee' or 'recall'. Recalling is safer than fleeing since in the last one you can panic and not escape.

Q: And about equipment? Where can I get them?
A: All new players receive a 'newbie start pack of equipments'. To see what you have in the inventory, type 'inventory'. To wear them, type 'wear all'. You also will receive a weapon. Type 'wield <weapon name>' to be ready to the fight. Type 'equip' to check the nice equipment you have just wore.

You can also go to one of the Donation Rooms and get any eq (short for equipment) you find there.

Q: I am hungry! I am thirsty! Will I die?
A: No, you won't. Relax about that. In Hollow World you won't starve to death. However, to be hungry/thirsty decrease your performance. From time to time, the mud updates your HP, MP and MvP, if your are hungry/thirsty the increase you be smaller.

You will receive initially meat and a canteen. To eat, find something eadible and type'eat <food's name>'. To drink, type 'drink <container's name>'. The container can be you canteen or even a fountain.

To get more food, you can go to the Bakery and buy some bread or whatever you like. If your canteen gets empty, go to some fountain and type 'fill canteen in fountain'.

Q: What is lag?
A: Lag is delay. The time between the moment you hit enter to the time the action really takes place quantifies the lag.
